Columbia Group Chair: Erica Maharg Join the Sierra Club for The Columbia Group Annual Summer Picnic Thursday, August 21st, at 6pm Laurelhurst Park, picnic site F
The annual summer picnic is a great time to gather with other local Sierra Club members and volunteers to have fun,
muse about summer trips, and banter about environmental issues. It’s also a great chance to learn what the Sierra
Club has going on in the coming months. It’s a potluck so bring a dish and beverages (alcoholic or others).
Children, dogs, neighbors, and anyone else are welcome!
Please go to our political page for the latest news. Do you think that the Willamette River is protected?
The Willamette River is still being polluted because of something called toxic mixing zones that let industries legally discharge toxic waste right into the Willamatte. For more information go to our water quality web page. photo © by Kathryn DelGatto |
