May Sierra Singles Pub Night!

If the late spring weather is favorable, you can hang up your raincoats before attending the Sierra Singles pub night at the Buffalo Gap Saloon and Eatery, 6835 SW Macadam Avenue in Portland on Friday, May 25, 2012, beginning at 5 pm.
The Buffalo Gap offers a full bar and a very reasonably priced happy hour menu, with tasty eats starting at $2.95. Their happy hour lasts from 4 to 6 pm, so it's best to arrive early for the el cheapo prices.

Please note that the Sierra Singles Pub Night is always the last Friday of the month starting at 5:30, unless otherwise noted. Only the location changes. If you have an idea for another meeting place, please let me know and let’s go sample it.

The Singles Group is looking for more activities and outings leaders. If you have a favorite activity (dinner and a movie, playing card games, art gallery openings, riding along the Springwater corridor…) Please consider inviting others to join you by becoming an activities leader.
Also, if you like to do outings (hiking, kayaking cross country skiing…) and are a “certified Sierra Club Outings Leader” or would like to become one you could lead other Singles in outings. For information about these opportunities please contact Dave Bybee.

A: We’ll have a “Sierra Club Singles” sign on the table(s).

Q: How many people are there?
A: It varies greatly, which is what keeps it interesting!

A: Generally a map link will be provided, otherwise please use Google, MapQuest, or Yahoo Maps.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: You pay for your food, drink, and a mandatory 15% tip. We are on one tab; however, the waiter can split the tab by each order. (Note: Based on past experience, sharing your food and/or drink tab can create a little bit of chaos unless you know the person you’re sharing with very well.)
