Welcome to the Rogue Group Sierra Club
Dedicated to preserving Southern Oregon's environment, natural resources, and quality of life, the Rogue Group is composed of Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, Curry and Lake Counties. This includes all of the Rogue Valley, with activity sections in Grants Pass, the Illinois Valley and Brookings. Our small office is located in Ashland, about 15 miles south of Medford.

The Rogue Group of the Oregon Chapter Sierra Club is based in Ashland, Oregon. Our small office is located in the Headwaters Gallery and Environmental Center building. The Groups work focuses on the proposed ski expansion on Mt. Ashland, the Klamath Basin, protecting the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, and much, much more.
The Group has an active Outings program, offering almost 50 outings a year. Members and non-members are invited to join our hikes around beautiful Southern Oregon. In 2007 we added Overnight Backpacking Trips. See the Get Outdoors! link for more information.
The Rogue Group covers a very large area and has Activity Sections in Grants Pass, the Illinois Valley and Curry County whose purpose is to focus on more localized activities and issues. See the "Contact Us" link for information on how to contact the section leaders.
