Weatherize for Good
Save Money and Help Build a Clean Energy Future for Oregon
Why participate in this program?
We will guide you toward the energy savings that is right for you
The contractors with Weatherize for Good are well versed in all energy savings programs available locally, in our state and across the nation. We can help you apply for Energy Trust of Oregon rebates, state and federal tax credits and participate in programs such as Clean Energy Works Oregon where you can get up to $2000 in cash rebates to be used toward a free energy audit and comprehensive home energy retrofits.
We will provide you with peace of mind
The contractors with Weatherize for Good are Building Performance Building Performance Institute (BPI) trained. BPI sets the national standards for programs such as Home Performance with Energy Star and a “whole house” approach to energy efficiency. Depending on the program, up to 100% of all completed residential projects are quality controlled by a third party assessor so you can free comfortable that the work is done right the first time.
We encourage you to support living wage jobs
The weatherization workers with Weatherize for Good are union laborers (LiUNA, Local 296). We support the BlueGreen Alliance Foundation in creating living wage jobs with comprehensive healthcare to a section of our population that is often overlooked. Crawling in dirty crawlspaces is not always a glamorous job but that's often where your energy saving begins.
